Winning an award can be great for publicity, staff motivation and market edge. There are many business awards schemes around that can help you to stand out from the pack. Here we select some of the best (all free to enter unless stated).

EDIE Sustainability Leaders Awards

The awards are open to all businesses and organisations across the public and private sectors and of all sizes from the largest multi-nationals to the smallest micro-organisations.  Nominations for the 2019 awards ceremony have been extended due to high demand and now close on October 4th.

 

Ethical Corporation Responsible Business Awards

For a business that is doing exceptionally well in areas of sustainability this is well worth entering.  There were 14 categories open for entry into this years awards.  There are still tables available for the ceremony in October 2019.

 Business Green Technology Awards

Now in the fourth year, the BusinessGreen Technology Awards provide a unique showcase for exciting green technology businesses in the UK. Details for the 2019 event will be available soon.

Guardian Sustainable Business Awards
A range of categories and previous winners profiled in the paper. Entries for this year now closed but more details coming soon.

East Anglian Daily Times Suffolk Business Awards
Categories include Environment and Sustainability.  Who should get the Outstanding Achievement prize? 

Ashden Awards 
Prestigious, high-profile national and international awards. Topics include energy reduction, renewables and travel.
Entries for 2019 are now closed.

Bury Free Press Business Awards
West Suffolk business awards. Categories include a Green/ Environmental Award.
Entries typically July-August. Currently closed but details of the 2020 awards nomination procedure will appear soon.
