Adnams, distribution centre in Reydon on the outskirts of Southwold has been built to the highest environmental standards and it brings with it enormous savings in their fuel bills. The new centre is likely to be one of the first industrial buildings to attain a BREEAM ‘excellent’ rating, - the highest standard of environmental performance in building design.
GYWoodstock, a wood reuse and recycling enterprise has been operating since 2007 in the Waveney and Great Yarmoth area. The centre, not onlt collects waste wood from businesses but has also teamed up with Great Yarmouth and Waveney MIND to develop a carpetry workshop as a social enterprise.
