Landscape and Biodiversity Award Highly Recommended
The six acre wildspace, collectively called Cherry Wood, includes woodland, wetland and wildflower meadow on a visually important site to the south of Stoke by Nayland Church.
The activities are based around education, community and the environment. They work closely with the local school as well as the local community enjoying and helping the natural world.
They run a nursery bed adjacent to the local primary school, where they grow young trees from seeds collected by the children and grow sunflowers for our bird feeding station in Cherry Wood.
