School Travel Plan Highly Recommended
The school travel plan was drawn up after consultation with parents and children through questionnaires and discussions as well as with the parish council and highways department. This stimulated debate around parking and speed restrictions within the village as well as helped to make parents aware of the dangers of the 'school run'.
Through these discussions the school were able to promote healthy life choices, including walking and cycling. Junior Road Safety Officers visited the school to promote the safe walking and cycling routes and children undertake safe cycling training.
