Ipswich Polish Club

Community Energy Project Award Highly Recommended

The Ipswich Polish Club will be opening soon at 57 St Margaret's Street, this is a club which invites all members of the community to sample and enjoy 'a taste of Poland'. They secured premises which were a shell, allowing them to attach solar panels to the new roof. This will provide enough energy to power the building and eventually sell energy back to the national grid, hence enabling them to derive a handsome income to assist sustainability.

They are poised to make the club the newest, greenest social attraction in Ipswich and a landmark in energy conservation, carbon reduction with cleaner surroundings and many energy saving devices available. To implement all these environmental features we still need the help of funds, partners and sponsors so please help us if you can.
