Community Transport Award Winner
Wombat Car Club offers members the opportunity to share a car and pay as they drive. This reduces the costs of travel, provides members with more journey flexibility and reduces their carbon footprint. Wombat currently has branches in Kesgrave, Colchester and Dorchester, but has been shortlisted for this award due to its development of a service to provide people with the chance to convert their own car to a Wombat car for the benefit of their community, the environment and turning a cost into an income.
