New Suffolk Processing Plant to Meet Fast Growing Demand for Environmentally-Friendly Hemp Products 13/08/2007
Hemcore, the UK’s only commercial hemp processing company, is to expand its operations with the construction of a new £3.6 million industrial hemp processing facility near Halesworth in Suffolk. When running at full capacity the facility will employ 35 people and enable Hemcore to process 50,000 tonnes of hemp straw a year.
Young people across the county are to be asked to put their creative skills to the test this summer and create a piece of environmentally-themed artwork.
