FCC Environment and Suffolk County Council work hard to reduce accidents at the Recycling Centres. Accidents involving member of the public visiting the Recycling Centres include cuts from waste, trips and falls on stairs, injuries as a result of heavy bags of waste and low impact vehicle collisions.

Additional Advice

Please do not remove waste items from the HWRCs
Do not throw waste over the top of the container
Familiarise yourself with flow of traffic on site (may be one way)
Trolleys are available for moving heavy items
