Waste and Recycling

Is your school waste aware?

The 'Pledge To Recycle' is a scheme run by Suffolk County Council's School Waste Education Officers to encourage schools to start recycling or to increase school recycling rates. There are staged awards to work towards by achieving increasing levels of recycling and we have designed the scheme so that it can be completed within one academic year.

If you would like more to sign up to please email school.waste@suffolk.gov.uk

The School Waste Education officer also offers all schools in Suffolk a free waste education programme. This is a series of unit based curriculum linked activities for all Key Stages and pupils with SEN. The School Waste Education Officer also organises environmental education events, competitions and special activities throughout the year
