The 2008 awards have now closed for entries, and winners will be announced at the Business and Environment conference at Adastral Park on February 12th. The next round of awards will open for entries later this year, and all details will be on this website.
A community might be geographical or social, so long as it is an open and inclusive group working together for common benefit. These awards will celebrate community-based commitment to the environment.
There are five categories to allow for recognition of a range of different achievements:

Category C2: Transport
Category C3: Community energy projects
Category C4: Communication - sponsored by SLP
Category C5: Landscape & Biodiversity - sponsored by Ransomes Jacobsen
