Suffolk Show 2008

Creating the Greenest County Marquee was a buzz at the Show, with 17 different 'green' organisations all in one place offering an opportunity to inform the public about environmental activites happening in Suffolk. Displays ranged from a domestic wind turbine, solar panels to low energy lawn mower as well as winners and sponsors of the 'Creating the Greenest County' awards.

Caped Crusaders were out in force to promote the EEDA Cut Your Carbon campaign

Interest in the Marquee was exciting and over 500 individual pledges to cut their carbon emission, marking an important step in helping Suffolk to become the Greenest County.

A big thank you to the Suffolk Agricultural Association, all the organisations who displayed in our tent and the volunteers for helping to make the Green Marquee so successful.
