EEDA Cut your Carbon

The scheme is available to communities in the East of England and will run for 3 years until March 2011

There is £2.5m which is then divided into 5 rounds of £250k. Each grant is up to a maximum of 75% of total project costs, the maximum amount available is £200,000.

Additionally a successful bid to Cut Your Carbon automatically makes the community eligible for Suffolk Green Fund

Green Suffolk Fund

The fund has been set up to help cover the remaining 25%-50% of project costs. The maximum amount offered is £25,000 unless there are exceptional circumstances. This is both revenue and capital costs, so can be used by groups to cover some of the set up costs of developing their ideas.

Once an initial offer letter from EEDA has arrived, there is pump prime funding up to a maximum of 10% of total project costs available.

The award is then made following decision of judging panel.
