Celebrating national landscape heroesDid you know that by 2025 your school will need to have nominated a sustainability lead and put in place a climate action plan? Not sure where to start?
newsIf you work in a school, you will not want to miss the Sustainability in Education conference happening this spring right here in Suffolk!
No matter where your school is on their climate journey, this one-day conference, supported by the Department of Education, will provide primary and secondary school staff with the tools to develop and progress their school’s climate action plan and put this into action. We will work with you to help make your sustainability journey as smooth as possible.
You will have the opportunity to hear from our inspiring key speakers, Joe Billington from the Department of Education, and a youth speaker from Teach the Future.
As well as this, you’ll have the chance to work together on to mitigate climate change on every aspect of the curriculum. Through practical workshops and sharing ideas, we’ll cover everything you need to know to make education part of the solution in tackling the climate crisis.
Tickets are going fast, so secure them here.
Additionally, if you are interested in exhibiting at the conference, please contact Rebecca Elston-Haynes, Schools Sustainability Lead, Suffolk County Council, rebecca.elston-haynes@suffolk.gov.uk.
