Meet some of the team
The Suffolk Public Sector Leaders
It all starts with this group which includes the elected leaders of Suffolk’s councils (county, district and borough), the Chief Executive Officers of Suffolk’s local authorities and representatives from the Police and Public Health. The Suffolk Public Sector Leaders fund most of what we do to make Suffolk net zero and approved a Suffolk Climate Emergency Plan to help us get there (scroll down to find out more about the plan).
Suffolk Councils’ Environment Portfolio Holders’ Group
A select number of local representatives (people you have elected as councillors in Suffolk) who help us achieve a more sustainable Suffolk by giving political direction to our work and advocate for the environment within local government.
The Suffolk Climate Change, Environment and Energy Board
A large group of senior managers that work across Suffolk’s public sector. They provide strategic oversight, pushing forward and overseeing all the environmental projects in our county.
Now onto delivery!
There are two groups responsible for delivering the projects that this Board sets out.
The Suffolk Climate Change Partnership
