We would like to invite you to an event detailing support available to parishes in Suffolk that want to address our local impact on climate change and our dependency on imported energy.

Our speakers will cover:

  • Help with funding and establishing community energy projects
  • Help available for setting up Community Land Trusts to develop affordable, zero-carbon housing.

  • Chris Mussett, Suffolk County Council / Eastern New Energy
  • Alex Templeton, Eastern New Energy / LECSEA project

This will be followed by a discussion on practical action and next steps.

The Eastern New Energy (ENE) project will be receiving funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The LECSEA (Local Energy Communities for the 2 Seas region) programme is a cross border project funded through the Interreg 2 Seas programme. Interreg 2 Seas 2014-2020 is a European Territorial Cooperation Programme covering England, France, the Netherlands and Belgium (Flanders).
