We’re proud of Suffolk and our tradition of doing things differently. Now we really want to take the lead in "Creating the Greenest County."
This is ambitious, but we should be aiming high. We want to live and work in ways that use less energy, but allow us to do more exciting things.
Suffolk’s character is at risk from climate change, but every year we produce millions of tonnes of greenhouse gases and huge amounts of rubbish. We want to make Suffolk better from the inside out, and to build on the fantastic work that many people are already doing for their environment. If you are already doing something, please enter our awards.
Creating the Greenest County is all about actions, not words. It needs you all to get involved – as individuals, families, communities, schools and businesses. We can help you make a difference.
